Homey and filling this Mexican restaurant hits the spot when looking for comfort food. The kind mom and dad used to take me for a celebration. Not exactly authentic 100% but pretty decent

Chill place with lots of seating and varied menu. Enjoyed the happy hour margaritas. Can lean on the pricier side compared to other Mexican restaurants in San Jose / the Alameda. Nice and attentive staff!

They proudly say authentic Mexican food, But please do not trust what they say. There food is not even close to authentic I had the chili verde plate and it was way too salty and the frioles had some type of cheese that smelled rotten and the beans were sour like they stored them in a Tupperware for 2 weeks and to top that off we went there for lunch me n my wife and we had 2 lunch plates 2 ice teas guacamole and a shrimp cocktail and when the bill came out it was $73 With the tip.truly disappointing we normally pay $48 at better high quality Mexican restaurants but this place on Race st. And the Alameda ave. Is by far the worse very outdated depressing Mexican joint I have been to and will never go back to this one location 😥😥😥

Decided to try this place on our never ending search for good Mexican food. This was a pleasant surprise! I had the beef enchiladas with rice and beans. I always checkout the beans first as a indicator for how good the rest will be. Not disappointed. The beef was a little under spiced but overall it was really good. I thought the prices were a little high, but high rent probably plays it’s part. Service was good and the staff was friendly. We went early, 430pm, so not very crowded so parking was fine. Would recommend.

Massive beverages and attentive service. I loved the food. The salsa was delicious! There was a large bar area too. Looks like there is quite a night life on some evenings.
